I have to say this was one of the most gratifying days we have spent in a long time! My Precious and I spent the last months gathering the dolls from numerous places from Virginia to Pennsylvania while on our trip of a lifetime, farmers markets to your local goodwill. We first started out telling the seller of the dolls/project what our plans were with the dolls and then decided to change it up to our Daughter does therapy with them due to the disturbing looks we were getting. I mean we were walking out of the store carrying bags of dolls!! I want everyone reading this post to imagine seeing 14 people at a campsite ages spread across a lifetime in a campground planting, gluing parts, drinking Whiskey, beer, eating and laughing and of course displaying our artful pieces of work, my mind would have been blown away at the site of such things had I not been part of this thing! Let the unexpected events be the place we all go to remind us that the safe place isn’t always a safe place, and that this life doesn’t have to be scary, this life is the now, dip ones feet in. 🍻🍻
