I elected to participate in research trials, in the hopes that someone will soon find a cure; if not a cure, something that will so down the progression of this MONSTEROUS disease.
Meet my research coordinator, Annabess. She schedules my appointments and leads me though the labyrinth at the Perlman Center for Advanced Medicine, adjacent to Penn Hospital, in Philadelphia. If I have any questions, she doesn’t hesitate to answer; even those that don’t pertain to my health or my tests. When we arrived at the sign that read radioactive materials, I asked her if I would acquire superpowers in this room, she grinned and replied, “Probably not.”
I was so looking forward to having superpowers!

As I sit here with my coffee this morning pondering your question Karen, my initial thoughts are purely selfish ….. I would like to have the super power of half OCD and half Buddha …… that way my house and life would be perfect by Monday lunchtime leaving me the rest of the week to enjoy a peaceful and calm life =D
